Romana Puiuleț

Romana is a co-founder of RISE Project and an investigative journalist at OCCRP. Specialized in video investigations, she has produced TV documentaries on environmental issues, natural resources, food, health, tax evasion, and land grabbing. Some of her works include: “AIDS, an Infected Tender” (about a €450 million tender proven to be rigged and canceled following the investigation), “Premeditated Robbery,” “The Gold Curse,” “The Mafia Rises,” “The Horsemeat Scandal,” “Veggie Scam” (The Sultans of the Markets), and “Who RMGC Paid in 2013.”

Romana has also produced the RISE documentaries “Clear Cut Crimes” (Winner of the 2016 Superscriere award), “Cement’s Dirty Business,” and co-produced “Killers Inc.” (Asasin în Lege).

Previously, she worked as a reporter for În Premieră tv show, Reporterii Realității, Bizbazar, and the newspaper Bursa.
