Mihai is a freelance photographer. He travels frequently to Latin America and Southeast Asia, and is passionate about street and travel photography. Mihai studied contemporary Romanian history and earned a Master’s degree in International Relations in 2006 from the University of Bucharest.
He takes part in RISE Project’s cross-border investigative projects, providing visual documentation in situations that require undercover reporting. In 2011, Mihai provided assistance to journalists in Cuba who were persecuted by the Castro regime.
